Response to Christine About Nick Nolte
Bob Praz

Beregond may very well be in ROTK, and Nick NOlte might be the actor, but just remember that Peter Jackson and his team of writers have taken characters from the book before and incorporated them in the movie in a minor role. So, yes Beregond could be in ROTK, but he probably won't do as much as he did in the book, in fact he may a rather different character, only partly based the one in the book, as is the case with Gamling, played by Bruce Hopkins (in the book, Gamling is an old soldier guarding Helm's Dike, which Aragorn comes to know: in the movie, Gamling is the successor of Hama, the Captain of the King's royal guard).
Then again, Beregond may be as he is the book, because he does contribute to the plot. I guess we'll have to wait to see ROTK.
