Not the Brightest Bulbs...
Lilly
One thing in the TT that least annoyed me, but that still annoys me, is Treebeard and the Ents.
In the book it took them no time at all (according to Ents) to decide to go to war! In the movie, they had to be tricked into it.
Which was odd. How do they expect us to believe that the oldest (and therefore potentially the wisest) beings in Middle Earth would be so easily fooled by a hobbit-and what's worse-a silly little tweenaged Took? Pippin asked Treebeard to take them right to the danger-zone under the lame excuse that it would be "the last thing he'll expect...": And Treebeard agreed! I find it hard to believe that he could be so easily manipulated.
Of course the ents were fantastic, but that kind of got to me.
Yours.

PS: do not take my recent absence as any sort of stanoffishness;. I've been away. I needed a vacation, you know? So I've been four states away from home and consequentially from any useable computer. I feel much better, and rested.
