In Response to 'Cast Changes'

I totally agree. I think that they could have done a better job with ALL the Elves, but Elrond was done poorly. In the books,he was a little serious, but in the movie, he was really ticked off the whole time. In the movie, he really lived up to his nickname of Agent Elrond. About Gandalf, he was done well, but I would have liked to see him scold Pippin a bit more. The only other complaint that I have in regards to the hobbits, is that in Moria, Merry is supposed to ask about the Elvish word for friend. In the movie, it was Frodo who did that. If they had stuck with Merry asking, then I think that would have set more of a difference between Merry and Pippin.
