Re: What's Taking So Long??

Andrew, I personally don't watch the trailers for any of the Lord of the Rings movies (I enjoy the movie more when I haven't seen most of the best parts already), so it doesn't really bother me that there hasn't been a trailer yet. I do find it strange as well though that they haven't released anything yet.

Anyway, the DVD of the Two Towers comes out at the end of August and there will be a 10-minute behind the scenes look at the Return of the King. There was a similar 10-minute preview of the Two Towers on the Fellowship DVD which contained a lot of the footage that showed up in the later trailers. So if there is no trailer by the end of August you will still be gauranteed to see some footage from ROTK on the DVD.

They definitly have enough footage to make a trailer, but when you're making a trailer for what's likely to be the greatest movie of all time, then you want to take the time to make the greatest trailer of all time too. I am more surprised that we haven't seen even a teaser poster.
