Favorite Cast Members
Magic Fire

I wanted to add my two cents in about the LOTR cast. This is very hard for me to do, since I think all the cast members are fabulous. My favorite character in the book has always been Aragorn, followed by Sam as a close second, so I knew that I was going to be particularly picky as far as they were concerned. I don't think I could have imagined a better Aragorn than Viggo Mortensen. He is Aragorn. Period. Just like Ian McKellen's Gandalf...Perfect. Although I like Sean Astins' other work, I was a little bit skeptical of his playing Sam. I thought his acting in the Two Towers was first rate. As far as Liv Tyler is concerned, I think, considering what she has done in the past, that she has been a very good Arwen...and, come on everybody, we all know who she got her horse lips from, don't we????At least they are pretty!

But seriously, I could name one character after another...the casting has been superb. Lets hope for more of the same in December!
