Changes to RotK

This really has nothing to do with previous discusions and I am farely new to this website but I was just wondering if anyone was as mad as me about the changes PJ is going to make to ROTK. Not puting in the "Scouring of the Shire"! What is he thinking! And his LAME exuse that "it doesn't work as an ending". Whatever! It worked in the book. Now I am wondering if he is going to put Frodo going to the Gray Havens! I hope he doesn't make the ending like all "happy" that would ruin the bittersweet ending of the book. He better not mess up the last movie! He already sort of messed up TTT. Faramir's charctor was already totally messed up. Anyways sorry this was so long.
(PS Hary Potter does't compare one little microscopic bit to LOTR!)
