Ok, I am going to agree with alot of people right now. I totally agree with G about everything that needs to be in the movie. I really really really hope they make it more than 3 hours long! I think it should be like 4 hours long! The scene that I most hope makes into the movie (ok well alot of scences that I really hope make "the cut") is Faramir and Eowyns relationship. That was so sweet! I LOVED that. I hope they show Elrond saying good-bye to his daughter. I want the song Sam sings when he doesn't know Frodo is lisntening in the "tower" when he is looking for Frodo to be in there. Then Frodo singing back in response. The song itself is touching. Sam and Rosie getting married! (you can tell im putting all the mushy stuff! lol) Frodo getting sick on the aniversery of Shelob and the stabbing of the Blakc Riders. It would show how bad he needed to go to the Gray Havens. (I'll think of more later but for now this is it.)
As for casting, Elijah Wood as Frodo Bagins was awsome! He is Frodo! And Billy Boyd is Pippin. Ian McKellen was amazing too! And nobody has menchaned(sp?) Ian Holm as Bilbo! He was so great! If you go back and read the parts in FOTR with Bilbo and then watch Ian Holms performance they are one in the same. Everybody was great and PJ made NO bad casting choices at all. (Oh and I cant forget about Orlando!! ;-)
To close it up, LOTR is just awsome! Whenever I read it I get sucked into Middle Earth. It is so real. Its not fantasy, it like your reading history. I love it!!!!!
