Sorry Eowyn But You're Wrong

Despite the article title this is not any verbal assault towards the submitted article by "Eowyn".
This article is directed at those people who have failed to spot the poor creature also known as Bill.

I'm getting tired of all this talk about Bill the pony not being in the movie. If you watch the FOTR again you'll see that the poor beast is included in all of the landscape scenes from Bree to Moria.
It's true that he's not in all the scenes, but in those scenes the camera is focusing in on a limited number of characters. There are also some scenes where only part of the animal is seen. One such scene is when Boromir picks up the chain+ring. In the background you will see a part of the pony. He (I assume it's a male pony) is also seen in the other caradras scenes. If you look closely you'll see him in the helicopter shots as well as in the avalance shots.

Go and watch the movie again, in some places he may be hard to spot. It took me about eight viewings before I realised he was included in those parts of the movie. After all it's not like he's a main character and has a lot of conversation with the other characters, i.e. it would be stupid of PJ to but the pony in the foreground and steal some of your attention from the important parts. It's better to put him in the background where we who cares about the details may see him. If on the other hand some people who doesn't care misses the fact that they have a pony so what it's not like he's a big part of the plot.

You non believers who still think PJ & co has missed something here. Watch the movie one more time, maybe you'll change your mind afterwards.
