Re: Poll and the Nagging RotK Length Question

Tiniowien, I would concur that you have been very controlled with your obsession. I myself have seen FotR at least 20 times not including the 5 times I saw it in the theater. Unfortunately, I've only seen TTT once, on opening night. By the time I had money and free time they weren't showing it locally anymore. So, now I have to wait for what feels like an eternity until it comes out on DVD and than start waiting again for the extended version and than continue waiting for RotK.

In regards to the question of RotK's length, I have a feeling it will be at least 3 1/4 hrs long(hopefully more). If you think about it FotR was longer than it was supposed to be according to PJ's contract with New Line and after it's success he went ahead and made TTT even longer. I have a feeling that with the success of the first two films New Line is going to let PJ go as long as he wants. I'm ready to spend four hours in middle earth. Who's with me?
