Hey, Can I Know Something?
Imlar

Hey sorry, it's me again, and I have a question that isn't really related to Tolkien. I just thought this would be a good place to ask it, since most of you are Tolkien fans. Me and my friend "Bob Praz" ---and he'll HATE me for putting this on here--- are both fairly skilled in writing, and we are writing books, just for fun, for ourselves-- that ressemble in style to LOTR. It's not Middle-Earth..it's another invented world..but the type of world and of story, the races...everything just make it really similar. Of course, NO similar book will ever live up to Lord of the Rings, so DONT GET ME WRONG! I'm just wondering... even though we aren't necessarily planning on publishing them...say they were good enough, would something like that appeal to you guys?? Would you just be like, ah cheap rip-off, waste of my time, or would you be like Hey MORE about Elves and Dwarves!!!

Currently working on writing chapters..making maps, histories, a bit of Language, alphabets...it's not easy!

I'd really appreciate your feedback!

Oh, and Jarrickon Falconn, good luck with your Language...I know how you feel!!! :)

Blessings of Elves be with you all!
