I think the most accurate, and my favorite part, of the movies is simply the gorgeous scenery. I never saw it that vividly in my mind. I am rereading the books for the first time in quite a while and finding that Tolkien's descriptions perfectly match the movie. Rivendell, for example.

I can't wait to see Frodo in Shelob's lair, and the paths of the dead ought to be beyond freaky. Plus I am dying to see Saruman's death!

Really Odd Thought: You know that I have watched LOTR alot when my little brother and sister lose a toy and say "It has fallen into shadow!" and when they find it they say, "The task was not done! It was sent back!"

This just happened and I couldn't resist noting it.
