Bored of the What?
Lilly

(Again, looking WAY back...) Yes, G, I've HEARD of the BOTR, though I can't say it's title made me much inclined to look into it.

My friends use BOTR as a way to tease me (did I mention they think I'm nuts for liking the LOTR so much? Because they do, and are constantly on my case), saying that it was a total anti-LOTR guy who wrote it, all about how awful it was.

Now, they've never read it (nor have they for that matter read the LOTR), so I doubt their word. Is it really any good? I've been desperate for something to read lately, which is hard, because I (shame on me) really do judge books by thier covers; one reason why it was four years after reading the Hobbit that I decided to read the LOTR (some ilustraters really need to get a grip...).

Curiously yours.
