The First Aragorn
Crasius

"Do any of you know who was originally cast in the role of Aragorn? In the extended DVD of the fellowship of the ring there are many references to Viggo Mortensen's last minute inclusion. Please shed some light on this if you can.

Thanks"

Stuart Townsend was supposed to play Aragorn, I believe. He plays as Dorian Gray in the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.

Correct me if I'm wrong....
