Re: Frodo? Where's Frodo?
Andrew

I have looked very closely at this scene, and zoomed in on my Dvd player, and i have come to the conclusion that Frodo definetly IS in the boat in that shot when Sam goes under. For some reason he is just below the side of the boat. If you look closely, you can even see him moving. You can see his brown hair, his green cloak and some of his face if you look closely. But trust me, he is there.
As for the dry clothes thing, well, the Elven cloak would be dry because of it's "elvishness", and I would think it probably resists water. His shirt definetly looks wet to me, but his coat is dry too. So I think the Elvish cloak being dry was intentional, and I dont know about his coat, but it looks like it's made of the same fabric to me, and this too probably resisted water on the day of filming, and in the sunlight probably dried very quickly, and doesn't look to be wet.
If you look at Frodo's cloak, you can that the water that is on it is resisted, so it would go the same for Sam's.
