Fav Silmarillion Characters
Annatar

For me, apart from himself (hehehe), my favourite characters would have to be Maedhros and Turin. Maedhros because, for some reason I liked the name and the whole story of him losing his hand etc. Turin, well because of his tragic history and very cool black sword, Gurthang. (Simple reasons I know, better than going all in-depth as to why etc etc)

Pip about a certain argument, that was all in jest I meant no disrespect, even though you and others accused me of having an ego, I swallowed my anger. Just keep in mind that all I type here is in jest and done from an opposing view point to help stir up conversation and maybe one or three laughs. By rights if you say you detect the presence of an ego then I should thank you, because I will have played the part of Annatar well (But remember the man behind the alias no one here knows so know one here can judge).

Anyways, was Sauron passed redemption do ya think? At the end of the First Age he came close to putting his past behind him. More help and perhaps he might have. Any thoughts? From a kinda religious point o'view no one is beyond redemption. So is this a case of the Valar yet again failing not only Middle-earth but Sauron as well?

See you all later :) Ash Nazg...
