Silmarillion Characters and Helm's Deep Commentary
Bob Praz

My favourite characters in the Silmarillion would definitely be Tuor and Tùrin. Tuor, because I think he's an heroic character, and because I'm a big fan og the Fall of Gondolin. Tùrin, well anyone who's read his tale knows it's a tragic story and I love the way Tolkien turns his fate against him. I also like Fingolfin because he the valor and (cough) silliness to challenge Morgoth to a duel.

That said, I just like to say about Elfowitz's mention of the DVD commentary (for those who haven't listened to it, I highly recommend it, especially the cast commentary) that I am simply looking forward to the cast commentaries of the TTT extended DVD, if only to hear about all the crazy stuff they did at Helm's Deep. I have a feeling there will be many a good tale to be told.

PS: I somehow forgot to write "Praz" after "Bob" in my last article (ROTK Trailer News). Just to say I wrote that, in case you didn't guess. As for Tinowien's question on why the ROTK trailer is being covered up by New Line, I am nearly 100% sure that the preview we saw is part of the preview on the TTT DVD. Therefore they want people to wait and buy the DVD, naturally.
