Sauron Redemption/Small Corrections

First of all to give my greetings to all Tolkien fans. This is my first post and i wish to contribute to your discussion.
First correction Sauron was not a Valar but a Maiar.At the Silmarillion/Valaquenta says "...In the beginning it was a Maiar of Aule....".Second correction the Valars cannot be accused of being idle or leaving Middle-Earth in her fate since the second rise of Sauron.In the Unfinished Tales we read that Manwe after counsel of Eru sends five Maiars to fight against Sauron.They are known to us as Istari or Saruman-Gandalf-Radagast and the two blue wizards that unfortunately they remained unnamed by Sir Tolkien.Thank you for your time reading this.I ve posted this with good intensions.Aure Entuluva......
