Just a quickie hopefully. I understand what you are refering too about differing moral views between some of us and those who portray LOTR. I was surfing and reading interviews of several actors from LOTR in some of the teen magazines. It was frustrating because suddenly my favorite LOTR characters were dropping swear words like they were nothing. It is not unexpected, but I too love LOTR because it is such a clean story. I have appreciated the movies because they have done a pretty good job with this. I love having two feature length films that are amazing and have no foul langauge, and no sex scenes.
I know what you mean about feeling alone sometimes, but at least on this forum, there are several who have similar values. So while it may feel lonely in the wide world, at least in the world of Tolkien-movies.com you have a few friends who feel similarly. Happy posting.
