RotK Trailer, Two Towers Changes
Tinowien

Frodo_lives, to my knowledge there won't be a ROTK trailer anytime soon. The 10 minute preview is all we have for now, but we must be patient. I learn great lessons about being a patient fan from Harry Potter, you know. Three years for book five... aigh...

Ahem, I digressed there. I see people's points about the changes made to the movie. Personally I have no problem with the Elves at Helm's Deep, actually I love it and find it a great improvement. It was a give and take, Jackson added the Elves and removed the Huorns. Utter excitement when the Elves come marching in with that military-Lorien theme. Mmmm...
But when I read Two Towers, I was shocked to see what they did with Faramir. I don't like it one bit. But for movie and climactic perposes, it was necessary. Sadly. But his redemption at the end is beautiful, and I can't wait to see him and Eowyn meet. I absolutely loved that in the book and look forward to it more than anything else in the movie.

Which brings me to a question: Why is Faramir's life forfeit if he releases Frodo? Some Gondorian thing? And excuse my "Gondorian", I'm not sure of the correct usage.
