'Nazgul #9, Where Are You?'
Brett C.

Pip, I expect the encounter between Gandalf and the Nazgul is another 'Elves at Helm's Deep' moment put in by PJ to up the suspence as Gandalf and Pippin ride to save Faramir in the citadel, a sort of wish fulfillment of every Tolkien fan [like me, I admit] who was a bit disappointed Gandalf never got to really unload against the WitchKing. Hope I haven't "spoiler'ed" too much for you.

I just hope with all this added stuff, we still get to see some of the more notable captains of Gondor, such as Forlong the Fat and my personal fave, Imrahil.

Lilly, have to admit to being a little confused. All the lines you listed were spocken by Hobbits [if you include Smeagol] except for the third, which is spoken by Saruman in greeting to Gandalf. What's the pattern?

And Underhill, I did listen to PJ's commentary again about the Balrog's wings, just to refresh my memory, and I heard him say he didn't know what the 'fuss' was all about. Since you cannot have a fuss without a large number of people on either side of a disagreement, I take this as an affrimation that I and Tinowien are not alone in our opinion of Valaraukar anatomy.
