Entwives, Movie, and Boromir
Diana

Tomas, it could be either true or made up. Some of the characters believed in rumors. This is another subjective area, and probably another issue that Tolkien left a mystery.

Razors, you could be right. Though I liked Dracon1Us' idea, there is the issue of economics and popularity. However, several people who didn't read the books told me they were confused in the movie. I wish there had been a way to make the movie clearer without losing money and popularity.

I agree that Boromir appeared selfish and arrogant in the movie. I even felt he appeared evil, and was a little glad he died the first time I saw it. When I read the book, I still found him greedy and arrogant, but nicer.

I thought the movie made Gimli too grumpy and useless. Then either Frodo looked too young or Sam, Merry, and Pippin looked too old.
