Head to Toe, Balrogs
Annatar

Brett C, yeah you are dead right, the movie did "slightly" exaggerate the height of the Balrog. Like you said I've always believed them to be around the 20ft mark. Where I got that figure I can't remember, However Ecthelion killed Gothmog by stabbing him in the chest which his pointy helmet (tech term) while wrapping his legs around this waist/thighs for leverage. So I spose 20ft sounds about right. One other thing the film did get wrong but hey this IS picky, is it shows the sword and whip of the Balrog, being part of the Balrog, or at least being conjoured by it. Sorry, the Balrogs weapons were "natural" in origin and not part of the Demon (The people of The Hammer Of Wrath seized them and used them against the Balrogs).

Anything else... Galadriel will NOT be at the forthcomming nuptuals. She told Aragorn there was no way she was going to a humans wedding, or as she put it "we will not meet again". Elves eh. Typical!!

Thanks y'all for laying my fears about Grond to rest. I had pictures of Grond, pretty groovy ones that I figured were from the movie, but then seeing the trailer...
OOhhh can't wait! Grond swings, the Nazgul screams and the Dunedain shiver.

Wouldn't it be cool if PJ did a complete change to the end of the book?!!? The Grey Havens chap' could show the remnants of the Elves being herded by honest working Orcs on to the deportation ferries. Frodo and Sam, alas, were killed accidentally by the falling fist of a Troll (who was then unconsolable with grief. 'onest!!!). Sauron gets back what was stolen and everyone is happy again... welllllll kinda. See you all later :) Ash Nazg...

P.s. Disclaimer, for anyone who takes the above too serious (a)its a joke, and (b)IT'S A JOKE!!
