Red Sunrise
Lady of Rohan

Boy, just looking at my article title makes me think of a bad martial arts movie... Never mind, though.

This is in response to your question, Lilly, about Legolas's line in TTT about blood being spilt and so on. This is PJ-lore created for the movie. Although it seems a rather ludicrous statement when you consider the Elvish faith outlined in "The Silmarillion," it does add something to the tone of the film, doesn't it?

In the hope of maybe getting some fresh ideas circulating, I was at a Rennaissance Faire the other day and got into a small arguement with a fellow on Elvish pronounciation in the movies. Judging by the appendices in the Lord of the Rings trilogy and The Silmarillion, I was always under the impression that PJ did well with pronounciation. (Especially when you consider that he was working with some actors *cough*Liz Tyler*cough*cough* who didn't even bother to read the book.)

Any thoughts?
