Hi All
Haldir
Hello eveyone one, im new here but I've been monitoring the forums for a while so I know a few of you and have enjoyed reading your posts. So now I've decided to join and add my voice to the discussions :)
In response to one of Bob's statements about wormtounge's tears at the unleashing of Isengard, I had a different interpretation. It seemed to me that when he walked with Saruman out onto the balcony (after just commenting on the shear number of troops needed to take Helms Deep)and seeing the vast army of Uruk-Hai, he was simply awe-struck. I dont think he felt any remorse for what he was helping to bring about. If he did, why tell Saruman about the weakness in the fortress wall? To me he seemed all to eager to bring about the destruction of those who had just cast him out. I hope i dont offend anyone, but did anyone else notice the similarity between the Nazi speeches to their stormtroopers, and Saruman's speech to his stormtroopers? Anyway, go easy one me guys, im still a newb :)
Honor your ancient alliances,
Haldir
