Heroes
Strider

In my opinion, the heroes of the Lord of the Rings are plenty.
Think about. Frodo and Sam and, yes, Gollum, trudge into the horrible land of Mordor to destroy the ring in the same place it was forged.
Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli for many reasons, such as the Battle of the Hornburg, the tracking across Rohan for Merry and Pippin, the Paths of the Dead, the Battle of the Pellenor Fields, and finnally at the Black Gat itself. Aragorn is true hero for facing his fears and finally becoming king.
Gandalf for encouraging all of Middle-Earth to fight against Sauron, adn the dark powers.
Merry and Pippin for encouraging the Ents to destroy Isengard, and Merry killing the Witch-king alongside Eowyn, and Pippin fighting galiantly at the Black Gates and killing a troll.
Finally, all of Rohan for fighting through Helm's Deedp, and then coming to the aid of Gondor, along with Theoden, Eomer, and Eowyn for their brave deeds, along with the people of Gondor.
All of these people contributed and became heroes in themselves to save Middle-Earth.

P.S Sorry about the length.
