True Hero?
Eioule

You know I did insisted Frodo was the true hero of the trilogy, and oppose any attempt to deny or mitigate the supremacy of his struggle over the rest of the characters.

However, I must admit that a smaller part of me would consider Samwise instead. Because when Frodo carried the burden of the Ring, Samwise carried Frodo. When I have that in mind, some voice in my head gently recites the poem "Footprints in the Sand."
