Old Man Willow and Sam
Melodie

OK, here goes:

First, i want 2 say that this is my first time doing anything like this, so if ive written absolute rubbish, i beg forgiveness. Second, my two topics, are totally unrelated. Infact, i just have questions about them. I'm not critisizing or debating anything. So if anybody has answers...

1.Old Man Willow:
I guess he (or she) is almost definitaly a huron. Which means that they were once an ent (or an entwife). What im confused about, is that they say "Old Man", which indicates a male, but the ents and hurons are all down south. Also, is there any possability that Old Man Willow was once an entwife?

2. Sam:
My question on Sam is a small one: how did he pass over the sea, like the other ring bearers? Cirdan had already left with Gandalf, Frodo and Galadriel, and i am willing to bet that he didn't swim.
