True Hero in LotR

The True hero in LOTR? I think there are many heros but I think the main one is Frodo. Someone said that a hero is someone who continued on when there was no hope left. Frodo said time and time again that he didn't see any reason why he should go on but he would. Personal sacrifice is a sign of a hero too. Everything Frodo did resembled that of a hero. And another thing (also one of the reasons I like Frodo) is that when Gandalf told him the ring needed to be destroyed he didn't want to go. He wasn't like "I will go vanquish this enemy!" If I'm not mistaken he waited years before he left. Frodo Rocks! But in close 2nd it would have to be Aragorn. But I absolutley loved what Eioule said about Sam being a hero too. The poem "Footprints in the Sand" is my absolute FAVORITE poem!! And I am very very happy that someone else knows the poem too!!!

With that said I wanted to say to Chrissy that I totally aggree with you. You go!!!
