Quo Vadis, Tolkienmovies.com Forum?
Eioule

Where are you going, TolkienMovies.com forum?

You know I was under the impression that in TolkienMovies.com forum, we'd be talking about Tolkien and film adaptations of his writings.

Now, when we speak of Tolkien, we could discuss his faith since he professed it inspired him to write the trilogy and all those wonderful works. He pointed this out clearly and in no uncertain terms.

Now then, Tolkien was a Catholic to the very end. That's an undeniable fact. If you say he converted to (I can hardly bear myself to say this.) Christianity, then be mature and responsible enough to prove it with material, substantial evidence.

And when you add that Catholics are not Christians, that they reject Christ's divinity, that they worship Mary and consider her perfect and that she can forgive sins, that we engaged in idolatry, and all those other claims, you've wandered from the topic of "Tolkien" and "film adaptations of Tolkien's writings" and into Catholic dogma. Where is the forum going now? THAT AIN'T RIGHT, PAL. THAT AIN'T RIGHT AT ALL.

Like I said, anyone who's got a problem with Catholic dogma, go to a Catholic apologetics website and settle it there, NOT HERE.

And I wonder if there's anyone moderating this forum now to please, please, please "CALL TO ORDER" this postings now before (for lack of better words) "ALL HELL WILL BREAK LOOSE." Because when that happens, then Heaven help us.
