First of all, may I say again as I have before regarding political debating in this forum that this is a sight regarding The Lord of the Rings and the movies. Please let's not be attacking each other over misstatements over religion.

Having said that, I believe that what Chrissy was trying to say is that you can be any denomination of religion and if you haven't accepted Christ as your savior and asked him to forgive your sins, then you are not "saved". I think the use of the word "Christian" is the problem here.

Heroes in the Lord of the Rings? My hero is Sam. He carries the ring with no effect, stays by Frodo's side throughout all adversity, including the possibility of death in the end, and never falters.My second favorite hero is Aragorn.
