RotK Trailer: Galadriel Scene and Shelob's Size
Bob Praz

About the Galadriel scene in the ROTK trailer it looks like Galadriel will appear to Frodo in a sort of dream sequence (like Arwen appeared to Aragorn in TTT), either at the moment when Frodo clasps the Vial and remembers it for the first time in the Morgul Vale (if not at another similar moment) or when he is unconscious from Shelob's venom. This, at least, seems to be the most obvious or probable possibility, but if you think otherwise, by all means, give us your opinion! I've also wondered for a long time whether PJ would insert a brief flashback of Galadriel giving the vial to Frodo, since this scene was so short in the theatrical version of FOTR that I don't think most people will remember it on their own (apart from those who know the book, of course).

As for Shelob's size, someone at theonering.net made a rough estimation of Shelob's size in relation to Frodo, by watching the one clip from the trailer when we see her. It turns out, as I hadn't thought of before then, that since we only see Shelob's head (which is tiny compared to her abdomen, even according to PJ) and that she's at the end of the cavern, whereas Frodo is besides the camera, the perspective makes Shelob look rather small. She is, in fact, probably far bigger than she looks in that two seconds of the trailer. Anyhow, I've talked enough, here's the article to read for yourself (including a picture of a rough scale comparison):
