Please tell me I am mistaken. In the trailer, we have the Rohirrim massed on the Pellenor Fields, making ready to charge. But, what? say it isn't so! Elessar, in full battle gear, rides at their head, rather than Theoden. How shall he achieve victory at Pelargir and sail up the Anduin to be the last-minute rescuer if he is busy leading six thousand spears of Rohan? I need to watch it a few more times to make sure they're not jumping between scenes of Minas Tirith and the Morannon with merely a voice-over by Aragorn, but from my first five/six times watching it, that's what I'm seeing. And one more question...what is up with there only being a split-second shot of Gimli at the very beginning of the trailer? I cannot wait the 2+ months that sit between me and my full indulgence of The Return of the King. Until then, the trailer will have to sustain me.
