The Valar and the Maiar

If anyone wishes to quetion Tolkien and his writings regarding The Valar and The Maiar - which one of my forum postings was questioned...you can find separate writings in The Silmarillion - The Valar explanations start with Page 15 and The Maiar on Page 21.

This is partially where I obtained my response in a past question posted weeks ago (could not log onto Matthew's new web link...)and I also take my information directly from The Encyclopedia of Arda.

One more thing: in the Debate Archives, in 2001 and 2002, too many people started bringing in their religious beliefs. This forum is not for that...especially since the webmaster created it for Tolkien and articles, news, etc. regarding "the movies". Please respect others and keep your religious and political beliefs to yourselves...this is not the place and we've had too many arguments and nasty comments in the past (see Archives !!!) to start this "bandycree with words (Gandalf...)) all over again.
