My Precious!!!!!! The Beginning of RotK, Question

The part where Faramir catches Gollum at the "Forbidden Pool" and when he is questioning him he asked Gollum, "what, what did they take?" And Golloum turns and yells as Faramir, "MY PRECOIUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" (with a really scary look in his eyes.) Anywayz, the next scene is Faramir coming in and going on and on about how he has the Ring. I have a question. How in middle earth did Faramir know that Gollum meant the Ring, Isildurs Bane, just from Gollum yelling "My Precious!!!"(?) That's what I would like to know.

Another thing I would like your peoples opinions on. How do you think ROTK will begin? I have absolutely no clue! I was reading another forum and someone wrote that maybe it would start with Gollum flashing back to him murduring Deagol and getting the Ring. What do yall think?

Ok, I have another questions. Sorry! But, here goes. Do elves not give regular mortal hugs? B/c when Aragorn hugs Haldir at Helms Deep, Haldir looks taken aback. Then Legolas comes up and does that shoulder thing. I just wanted to know if that wasn't something PJ put in the movie.

You know how Gimli supossedly doesn't know elvish. (He says in the EE "speak words we can all understand.) But at Helm's Deep when Aragorn cries "Ladders!" in elvish Gimli goes "Good!!!" And he is too short to see them coming. Just a thing I wanted to piont out! Sorry this was so long, I haven't had a long one in a while! ;-)

PS By the way, (haha, can't get rid of me that fast!) the part where Sam is telling Frodo that all he has to do is slip on the Ring and leave (when they "captured by Faramir) and Frodo is saying he cant. They the Eye will find him! Elijah Wood does that part so exellently! He looks so paranoid! His eyes get all big and he talks like he is hiding. (Which he kind of is)OMG! He did an excellent job being Frodo in first 2 movies and I can not wait till I see him in the 3rd one! just 57 days!
