Wormtoungue Crying?
Jafo

Now that I have finally had a chance to watch TTT a few times at home, I noticed something that I haven't heard discussed before.

When Saruman shows Grima the Orc army and declares that everyone in Rohan will be slaughtered, there is a close up of Grima and he has a tear rolling down his cheek.

I am assuming he is crying because he knows Eowyn will surely die and he will not be able to take her.

Rumor has it that there will be no "Scouring Of The Shire" section in the ROTK, I am wondering if this is how Peter Jackson is going to kill off Saruman. Grima will be so distraught that A, Saruman lost the war and B, he tried to kill his love interest (Eowyn), that he kills Saruman.

I know in the books Grima kills Saruman, but he does it during the SOTS scene. This seems a plausible method to have Saruman die without changing the way it happens in the book to extremely.
