Inconsistency in Sam's Knowledge
Orangeblossom

This is my first post. I love LOTR, it is the my favorite book and movies. The changes that Peter Jackson makes stay within the world created on the screen and in the book.
One thing that drives me absolutely nuts in Two Towers is givign Sam a line that is beyond his scope of knowledge. Sam asks Faramir, "Do you want to know how your brother died?" then Sam proceeds to say that Boromir died because of his greed of the ringI have read the books and watched the movies and there is no way possible for Sam to know how Boromir died, he was on the other side of the lake at the time. The first he heard of Boromir's death was from Faramir.
