Things All Cleared Up (or Mostly)
Frodo_Lives

That was Haldir who brought the Lothlorien elves to Helm's Deep. If you'll remember he was also the one in the book and movie who meets/confronts the Fellowship in FOTR. He really doesn't have such a big part in TTT and he doesn't die! (I'm still in denile about that).

The Rohan people didn't know that Eomer was coming. So they thought that they were all doomed because of so small an army that the Rohirrim had. But then when Eomer came they knew that they had victory.

About the size issue of the army of Rohan...... I have absloutley no clue!!!! (I'm sure that helps alot.) I would have thought that they would have more men. Of course we have to remember that alot of the faithful soldiers were banished right along with Eomer. So there was at least 2 to 300 men.

Hope that clears some of your questions up.
