Another Question

Ok - we know that while Sauron's armies are attacking Gondor, there are other battles taking place at Eredor, Mirkwood and Lorien, and the Ents are fighting an invasion of Rohan from the north. But in ROTK Tolkien seems to focus only on the battles at Osgiliarth, Minas Tirith and the Black Gate (presumably because that's where all the main characters are).

The question is - will the movies correct this and show us at least a part of the fighting taking place elsewhere? I ask this question because the way the story is told in the book it seems like only Gondor is being threatened, when in fact the whole of Middle-Earth is under seige.
