TTT EE Poll
Bob Praz

My favourite scene in the Extended Edition is...the Sons of the Stewards! Ooh, big surprise there, eh? (Hehe). However I must also say that "The Final Tally" scene after Helm's Deep was hilarious; my friends and I laughed hard. The extended Merry and Pippin story was also amusing, especially the Ent Draught, and so was "One of the Dunedain" with Aragorn and Eowyn (poor Aragorn; all these persistent women after him). The Huorns, Theodred's funeral, and the extended Sam/Frodo/Gollum stuff at the beginning were all great as well. Lastly, I am also one of those who are glad to see so many of Gandalf's great lines back in the movie (many of which, as I think I have said before, I was expecting to hear in the original version).

As for Gandalf's scene with Aragorn at night where he talks about Sauron and Saruman's plans, that was never in the ROTK trailer, but it appeared frequently in several TTT trailers and previews.
