Boromir My Favorite, I Think

Boromir is my favorite character. (I was pleased that they had Sean Bean play him) Boromir was human, but he was noble and brave. He did make some mistakes, like trying to take the ring, but he did his best to redeem them by dieing for Pippin and Merry. I cried in the book and movie when Boromir dies. But then again Tom and Goldberry were fun. I liked them. Tom the master was not tempted by the Ring, nor did it's power have any influence over him. I also like Pippin and Merry and Fatty (yes I know he is not in the movie either) and Sam and Farmer Maggot. I like the Shire-folk. They are strong and brave, through they much rather like food and drink. And friendship means everything to them, they stay with their friends no matter what. Quickbeam is my favorite ent, mainly because he is hasty. He made me laugh. I like Legolas and Gimli, the friendship between them was..........something different. Because of Legolas, Gimli is the only dwarf to see and live in the undying lands.
Question: Legolas and Gimli stay until Aragorn decides that his time is over and he dies, then they leave to the undying lands. Sam also leaves after everyone else leaves, after having a family. Why is it that Arwen cannot go? She has to stay and die. She chose to stay with Aragorn. She stays after he dies and returns to Lorien and dies on the hill that she meet Aragorn on. Why can she not go to the undying lands?
