TTT Trailer
Brett C.
My third 'short' esay for the day. I'm not sure if the trailer you downloaded was exaclty the same as the one I say at the end of FOTR a few weeks ago Drac0n1us, but if it was you see an Ents eye snap open [probably Treebeard's] while an unsuspecting Pippin is climbing on him. The views of Arwen are a little disturbing, and I have no idea of the significance of the 'sleeping beauty' shot, but the clear implication seems that Arwen will be delivering the reforged sword to Aragaron, possibly against Elrond's wishes [to put Arwen in danger, not to slight Aragorn, I hope.
Galadriel would be appearing to keep her fresh in the minds of the audience - she may have been talking to Arwen, since I have seen a still of them standing together in one of the movie books. No idea for the Elves, unless they are replacing the Rangers who show up in ROTK [no TTT admittedly] with the sons of Elrond [so far unseen]. Saruman presumably learns of Aragorn from Wormtongue, since in the books Aragorn claims the title of heir of Isildur in the books first with the Rohirrim, and Gandalf even mentions the possibility of Saruman recognizing him [Aragorn] in the books just after the debate at Ortahnc 'If Wormtongue were not deceived by the armour of Rohan, he would remember Aragorn and the title that he claimed.'
Lastly, it is hard for even the most merry of warriors to not look grim when fighting for thier lives against 10 000 odd orcs, so lets not judge the Rohirrimn of the movie to harshly yet. Especially, Theoden, since Bernard Hill is, trust me, a superb actor, and I believe will do a job with Theoden only Sean Connery could surpass [Whenever I imagined Theoden reading the books, I always saw Connery.]
Just as a matter of interest [not criticism] who did other people see for characters if they had their choice of actors, living or deceased?
