| December 7, 2003 Why Arwen Stayed This is an approximate answer, as I don't have a reference book available right now, but my understanding of why Arwen stayed in Middle Earth to die has always been that this gave her the possibility of eventual reunion with Aragorn beyond the Circles of the Earth. This possibility is denied to those who choose the Undying Lands. |
