Stop It! No Comparisons
smack

First of all none of you should be comparing the world today with professor Tolkiens work. As a matter of fact he started to write the story before our world and WW 2, which means analysing his books into our world is completely wrong. So USA is neither Mordor nor Minas Tirith. They aren’t Mordor because they do not make war in order to get more lands. It is a complicated case, you America need wars to have an argument for spending so much money on a powerful military force, which they of course are interested in since that, with that power they have a lot to say in this world community. They aren’t Minas Tirith since they are not fighting for their homeland against a power that is 20 times their own power. It must be remembered they are starting the wars for unknown reasons, I say they are unknown because we can argue from now on till next summer, whether or not it was only because of freedom they went into Iraq. Besides USA isn’t Mordor because that would make Americans orcs which neither they or people are.
Bottom line is u just can’t compare the books of Tolkien with the real world, and USA are not evil, but they DEFENETLY aren’t wearing a halo. They are not fighting for freedom alone, ergo they aint no ruddy freedom fighters, that would be a laugh say.
