The First Viggio
Eric the Brown

The first actor cast to play the intrepid Aragorn was Stuart Townsend. But Peter Jackson noticed in the first week of filming that Stuart was too young to play the part of our 87 year old king to be.

I cannot believe that it is less then 48 hours until I get to go to ROTK with my two good friends. To say I am excited is an understatement indeed. The reviews have been so great and I know that again PJ will exceed my expecatations, which are quite high, and leave me in awe like the last two films. I have also purchased a ticket for Friday night as I know I will need to view ROTK several times. After all these movies will go down as the greatest trilogy of our lifetimes and maybe many more.

I probably won't post again until after I have seen the movie but I will post that evening or next morning to give you my thoughts.
