Return to Hobbiton, Smeagol

First of all thanks to everybody who has answered my post.
RotK was a GREAT movie all though I am pretty sad that its all over, I really don’t know what to look forward to, to be happy about(besides my family). Only 1 thing bothered me with RotK, and that was of course return to Hobbiton. I know the movie was getting very long indeed but, the narrator could have talked just 1-2 minutes about it and how they’ve rescued the shire from who ever. I mean that instead of changing the story and make the Shire look normal. But they could have skipped the Smeagol Deagol sequence, because the story could have been told as easily with out that. All though I know why they’ve done it, or at least I have a theory. Last year Andy Serkis unfairly couldn’t get an Oscar for his SUPER work as Gollum, because his face didn’t appear. But in RotK Andy Serkis’ face does appear as Smeagol and therefore he can get a well-deserved Oscar.
But all in all it was a GREAT movie.
