All Hail Peter Jackson
G

SPOILERS!!!

That was one good movie.

'd love to have seen Saruman again or a little more of Merry and Pippin at Isengard and the houses of healing were missed but otherwise fantastic!

Why though did we not see Aragorn look in the Palantir and challenge Sauron or lean that Denethor had a Palantir himself?

It was great to see Faramir come into his own as I feared his story would be heavily cut and his misrepresentation in the theatrical version of Towers can now be forgiven. And at last Merry and Pippin got the screen time they deserve and became recognised as central characters.

The one big loss in my mind was the fact that we didn't get to see Gandalf and the Witch King come face to face. Surely that would have been great cinema.

Anyway, despite some minor flaws this was a masterpiece and simply HAS to clean up at the Oscars. Hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did and if you haven't seen it yet then WHY NOT???
