Pippin's Song
Lilly

Funny thing: this super-sad song features the lyrics of a condensed version of the cheerful, bouncing walking song that the hobbits sing in the FOTR book.

If you want, you can pick them out of the song pretty easily.

CAN'T wait for the EE DVD. PJ can do no wrong by me now, even were the movie 3 discs long.

Though I was a bit irked by the whole "Denethor the human Falling Star" bit. And also by Gandalf's taking him out with the staff.

But it might've been worse. And It couldn't really have been any better, unless it was longer. Which is why there's a DVD.

So there.

PS: went 2 see it again, this time w/ a very considerate friend. It was magnificent, but I'll always miss the 1st impression, I think. Sigh. Another reason to look forward to the DVD.
