Elves at Helms Deep and Wow
Elanor

Orangeblossom, I'm not exactly sure, but I think all the elves were killed at helms deep because remember when they are bolting the last door before the king and Aragorn ride out together? Do they show most of the men still alive there? Aragorn makes some go bolt the doorway to the women and children, but other than that it looks like everyone else was killed. I didn't see any elves in that scene, so I think they were all killed. Anyone correct me if I'm wrong though.
Hey, in the book, the elves don't go to Helms deep at all do they? I skimmed the chapter quickly and I couldn't find them in there. Did I just miss them? It has been a while since I last read the books and I was talking to someone who thought they did come.

And now for the movie. WOW!!!!!!! It was great! I saw it first showing with my family and friends and it was awsome! Sam and Frodo talking about the shire was great! And the ending where Sam says the last line "Well, I'm back." was perfect! I was looking forward to that and I'm glad PJ went with the book on that one. One part I didn't like was at the beginning. I didn't really like all that with Gollum. Probably because I don't really like Gollum. I pity him, but I have to admit he isn't my favorite character. Well, sorry this was such a long post.
Merry Christmas everyone!!!
