Rock on RotK!
Imlar

Just a no-brainer article to state my appreciation of PJ's latest masterpiece. This was my favourite book, and the standards were high! A few things nagged me, like the death of Denethor and the never-ending hugs at the end (it was fine the first time, but I'm guessing when I buy the movie I'll end up skipping those few minutes quite regularly ;)..but that's just me) BUT overall...wow...thumbs up, and I'm going to go see it again tommorow, hopefully.
As Vox Day so clearly explains in his artice "The King returns," ...

"He shames the arrogant directorial elite by his humble devotion to the written word, and in doing so has raised tenfold the standard expected when translating a book into film. Never again, one hopes, will a Paul Verhoeven or his haughty ilk be permitted to blithely urinate upon a genre classic under the aegis of directorial hubris"

Um yah..what he said! haha..anyways, it was great, I hope everyone thought so...if not, I'm rather sorry to hear that ---maybe it will grow on you in a good way if you keep watching it enough ;)
