The Twin Towers, To Be Or Not To Be
Sarah

Some people can be soooooo dumb. Hello! Tolkien named it The Two Towers a long time ago. And, I know this is completely related to the book, but does it make sense to just completely erase the TWIN towers from everything? "don't do this because it refers to the towers" "don't do that for the same reason." Great way to memorialize. Just erase it from everything. You know, I understand how you shouldn't say things about it RIGHT after it happened. But, seriously, not to be uncaring or anything, I think it's time we stopped walking on eggshells, and actually let the towers back into our lives. I mean, gosh, what are those "don't-mention-the-towers" people gonna do when they make a movie out of it? We all know they will some day. It's dumb. Sure, don't make jokes about it or anything, but it happened. But we should be able to mention it, even refer to it if it's respectful.
But Tolkien, obviously, wasn't even refering to it. And then they try to change our story! Of all the nerve. Or stupidity. All anyone ever cares about anymore is to not offend ANYone.
I agree with Tavra. People are too picky. Stop complaining. PJ tried his best, and he did a GREAT job. To Bob the Builder: Complaining doesn't start any interesting debates! Just a bunch of "I agree"s. Questions and stuff start debates, but I haven't once seen complaining provide interesting debate subjects.
Richard, like Tavra said, he DOES say Earendil, not Elendil. Next time you see it, listen carefully. I'm pretty sure there is no 'r' in Elendil :).
Also, the reason that Gandalf probably just didn't jump back onto the Bridge of Khazadhum is because the Balrog isn't just some monster. He's a Maia, just like Gandalf. Both of them were intelligent, and I can't help but wonder if both of them knew that one of them had to die. If Gandalf hadn't killed him, the Balrog would have probably attacked them later, or gone to help Sauron. So, I don't think Gandalf had the power to just fall up, and even if he did, I think he wouldn't have, so as to stop the Balrog, even at the cost of his life. Gandalf's just like that. So, to Simon: I don't think Gandalf could have just kapowed the Balrog. The Balrog was just as strong as Gandalf. Neither could just kapow the other. Also to Simon: the evolution of the earth???????? Sure. Right. Whatever. Weird.
